I had always cherished and carried, in my heart and mind. the above saying of a simple, humble, and spiritual human being. And, it worked quite inspiringly well for me to coup up with the continuing challenges and struggles in my life as in the running of a business, and yes, four (4) years of executing a mandate for our organization. A barrage of “slings and arrows” came along the way as I crossed bridges.
The journey was not easy and this maybe the right time for me to disclose why I really sought to be an officer, president, of PB-USA. It all started when Mr. Dan Nino was elected president after having successfully secured our 501 ( C ) ( 3) – Foundation Status. That’s the ice-breaker and the start of an evolution as to who we are and where are we going. I certainly congratulate and thank Mr. Dan Nino for consciously and patiently taking the lead in starting off and implementing the new course of engagement in running our organization. The subsequent premise of my decision was to simply continue what Dan Nino started particularly what was urgently needed to be done.
I saw the good writings in the wall that we can finally do something for our kabaleyans, here and abroad, within the purview of our ” Mission Statement”. My assumption to office in 2012 was still a transition period requiring more orientation on what a 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) is all about. An established accounting and financial firm ( with a good number of foundation clients), Husami & Associates, provided a pro-bono seminar on this subject and kept monitoring our progress as my term of service progressed. This generous guiding light gave us all the possible opportunities to lay down needed foundations for our “NextGens” to carry on. I do have so much valuable information and meaningful accomplishments to share with everyone.
Our of Board of Directors took a bold, dynamic, and realistic decision in passing a resolution to integrate two (2) ” Nextgen” members as official members of the board. Along side this board resolution, the privilege of the Council of Presidents, both past and present, was enhanced to include all Pangasinenses meeting requirements as set forth and approved by the Board of Directors of PB-USA-Inc as being a 501 ( C) ( 3 ) organization. This amendment was approved by the Board of Directors to avoid discrimination and conflict with the provisions of Federal and California State Law on the election of Board of Directors, its membership, and management of a non-profit organization registered as such under 501 ( C) ( 3 ). This subject was fully discussed during our previous general membership meeting and will be re-explained on our scheduled meeting this Sunday, August 16.
Please join and attend this important meeting as we prepare an event for our organization’s lifetime over and above the normal pomp and circumstance of our social activities. Something that we can all give during our earthly life – definitely “not for show” nor desire for ” recognition”.

Dear Kabaleyans, Fellow Pangasinenses,
I simply cannot believe it that five (5) months from now is ” Christmas Time “. Along the same time frame, my committed and mandated term of service will gradually come to a close by the end of 2015 to usher in the new leadership of our beloved PB-USA-Inc. come 2016. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!!
2012 – 2015 were exciting and challenging years but truthfully inspirational for me, personally, that I was given the opportunity to perform ( plan and execute ) charitable works of mercy with the support of our Board of Directors, fellow officers, and kabaleyan members. Together, we took that journey with strong faith, walk through that faith, and the grace of that faith came over us all to reach our destination and finish the job. Indeed, a Journey of Hope and Faith. Thanks be to God.
Now, here is a brief narrative of our scheduled and important activities for the remaining five (5) months of 2015. Kindly take note of it and accordingly pass it on to our fellow kabaleyan members:
AUGUST 16, 2015, SUNDAY – GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – MARRIOTT COURTYARD, 5865 KATELLA AVE., CA 90630 – CYPRESS ROOM ( BIG HALL)
AGENDA:
1. Special Requiem Mass for our departed kabaleyans. Let’s all join hands in prayer via this spiritual liturgy for our loved ones now in the fold of eternal life – ” Church Triumphant”
2. Financial Report to include 2014 filings of Form 990-EZ ( Federal Exempt Organization Tax Summary (EZ), California 199 Tax Summary, and Form RRF-1 (Registration Renewal Fee Report to Attorney General of California). A brief power point presentation of our Quick Book registry which took effect 2012. Ten (10) minutes testimonial akin to a SONA.
3. Re-explanation and presentation of the protocol and detailed mechanics in the election of Board of Directors to include the bold and brilliant resolution of the Board of Directors to officially integrate two (2) members of our ” NextGens” as members of the Board for 2016. These enhancements were fully discussed during the previous general membership meeting. Time to welcome new members and update review of memberships.
